Mid-Century Again

Welcome to Mid Century Make Under, where we'll again chronicle our process of "retro-storing" another mid-century ranch, this time in mid-Michigan.
Our first place in central Iowa was a learning experience, as we often remind ourselves.  The blog was born after most of our renovations were complete, mostly to provide additional detail on 48th Place for prospective buyers.
Now that we've sold, moved, and bought again, the blog will transition to a log of our efforts at Skyline Court.
This second time around, back in our home state, armed with hard-won knowledge, and geographically closer to free labor family, we're planning for slower, but more extensive, efforts.
Introducing, Skyline!  1957 ranch - 1287 sq ft on 0.615 acre - 3 bed, 1.5 bath - full basement - 2-car garage.
